FELA.Mi blesses us with visuals to his electro-influenced bop, “Rain” (2 min reading time)

FELA.Mi has debuted the visuals to his new single Rain. The video (directed by Renaissance Filmed) features the North-London artist performing in a picturesque park setting. FELA.Mi continues to expand his dance repertoire after his previous video release Body On Lock and debuts a similarly impressive umbrella-led routine in Rain. Watch the visual for the track below.

Rain has an immediate bop to it; the electronic, Chicago house-esque composition of the track is the brainchild of Cheap Limousine who channel mellow, woozy vibes alongside a natural, groovy melody. This is accompanied by a simple – yet effective- drum patten that gives the record an immediate presence that continues from start to finish. FELA.Mi‘s smooth vocals add a welcome layer to the production, providing even more warmth to the track as the melodic rapper celebrates his faith and blessings so far.

Rain marks another successful pivot for the artist who has been leaning more into his melodic rap ability after tracks like Body on Lock, Take Me Home which demonstrates his range versus his more traditional rapping ability seen through features like Surya Sen’s Stateside.

It’s a great start to the year for the North London rapper who will be looking to maintain up the momentum of late last year into 2021. We’ll carry on checking for FELA.Mi and look forward to what he’s got coming up next.
